Tamarack Inn Bed and
Breakfast
|
Welcome to the Tamarack Inn ! |
||
Built in 1980, originally as a restaurant, the Tamarack Inn began it's change to a Bed and Breakfast in 1995. The rustic A-frame lodge is suitable as a base for a multitude of mountain activities, regardless of the season.
The Tamarack Inn is located at the hub of 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that are groomed and maintained December through March. At 5,045 feet in elevation, our snow often lasts beyond the end of March. Being situated on one of four trail heads provides our guests easy access to the trails of our Winter Wonderland.
Spring explodes with wildflowers. Morel mushrooms are abundant, and can be found with persistence and luck, along with "Cauliflower" and "Calves Brains."
With summer come the huckleberries, a mountain delight, which are always worth the effort. This time of the year is always good for: wilderness hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and off-road vehicles.
Fall, and the "changing of the colors" comes all too soon, bringing not only the 'Season of the Hunt,' but the promise of Winter.
We hope you enjoy your stay!
