Four miles east of the Inn, Spout Springs Ski Area awaits the ski and snowboard buffs. Chair lift and Tee Bar access the slopes night and day. Near Spout Springs is Horseshoe Prairie Nordic ski area, just waiting for the cross-country ski enthusiasts.
Across the highway from the Nordic Ski Area is Andes Prairie, the only designated Sledding and Winter camping area in the Blue Mountains.
The Tamarack Inn Bed and Breakfast is located at the hub of 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that are maintained December through April. At 5,045 feet in elevation, our snow often lasts beyond the end of March. Our Inn is situated on one of four trail heads, which provides our guests easy access to the trails of our Winter Wonderland!
